I’ve worked with Komal for a couple of years and more recently as her manager. She’s a very capable end to end product designer who can take on complex work with minimal handholding and keep it moving.

One of the things I value most about Komal is her judgment. She cares about the user experience, but she’s also very aware of business, time and delivery constraints. She knows when to adapt and when something is important enough to push on.

She’s particularly strong at navigating difficult stakeholder dynamics. She’s calm, level headed and candid when she needs to be, and she handles disagreement in a way that keeps the conversation constructive. That makes her someone I’m very comfortable assigning to difficult or messy projects where the environment around the work can be just as challenging as the design problem itself.

Komal is sharp, observant, independent and a pleasure to work with. I’d happily work with her again.
